Kelly Clarkson

KellyKelly Clarkson, in full Kelly Brianne Clarkson, (born on April 24, 1982 in Fort Worth, Texas, U.S.), American singer, songwriter, and television personality who came to prominence as a pop rock star following winning the popular television talent competition American Idol in 2002. Clarkson was born in Burleson (Texas) and is which is a suburb located in the vicinity of Fort Worth. Her vocal ability was noticed at the age of seven years old from the head of the choir department at the school she attended. Clarkson quit high school in order to relocate towards Los Angeles where she failed to make it in the industry of entertainment. After returning home in Texas in 2002, she was a contestant for the American Idol, a show broadcast by the Fox Broadcasting Co. American Idol. This singing competition allowed viewers to vote on their favorite performer. Viewers were smitten with Clarkson's powerful performance, charisma, and humour. Clarkson was awarded $1 million and an agreement recording in partnership with RCA to be her reward.
