Paula Patton (born in 1960) is an American actress. She has also produced films such as Mission: Impossible: Ghost Protocol. She was born into a middle-class household in Los Angeles, she harboured huge dreams when she was a kid. Her mother was a movie lover and urged her to enjoy films when she was a kid. Paula was involved in her school's co-curricular activities and was particularly drawn to drama. Paula loved playing the role of an actor with her classmates and took part in the school's stage productions. Hamilton Magnet Arts High School gave her many chances to perform in high school and she decided to pursue acting to pursue a career. She attended in the University of Southern California for the Summer Program, and she loved the experience. She was awarded a three-month project creating documentaries for PBS. Her first job was as production assistant for television documentaries following her successful completion of the project. Following the completion of her project, she started producing documentary films. However, she had always wanted to become an actress, even though she was happy at her position. She started her career in acting by playing Will Smith's co-star in love story Hitch. In the years since, she's been in a variety of popular films and television shows.
