Taylor
Taylor Swift may be the most unusual of pop stars: an artist who could effectively bridge the gap between country and pop while sweeping the globe. Swift removed herself from country music like a second-skin and proved that she had the best pop sensibility of her generation. Swift was the only musician/singer to take the popular zeitgeist on the road. Swift's first hits, particularly their neo celebration of Tim McGraw, showed off her skills. But her 2008 album Fearless showcased a writer who was discovering herself and finding a large audience. Fearless was successful not only on American soil, with six platinum-certified singles. Its Top Ten songs Love Story & the hit song You Belong with Me were the primary reasons behind this. It also performed exceptionally well throughout the world. The Swift's Speak Now album released two years ago, consolidated her prior success, and catapulted her into superstardom. In the following three years, her fame grew -- Red (2012), Reputation (2014) in addition to 1989 (2014-2015) -- as Swift entered the arena of pop where her talents were already well-established. Her name was always at the top of pop even when she dropped her own style on her sister albums folklore & Evermore in 2020.
